Task 1-1: Configure the router Hostname and IP Interfaces

  1. Configure the correct hostname on each of the routers.
  2. Configure each of the customer CE routers interfaces with the correct IP addresses and DLCI
  3. Configure each of the PE routers interfaces with the correct IP and DLCI
  4. Configure each of the P routers interfaces with the correct IP addresses and DLCI

Verify the following

  1. Ping from each CE to its connected PE’s physicaly connected interface.
  2. Ping from each PE to its connected P’s physicaly connected interface.
  3. Ping from P11 to P12 and from P21 to P22.

Task 1-2: Configure IGP within each of the two services providers

  1. Configure RIP v2 on each of the customers CE routers and advitise the 10.0.0.0 and 150.x.0.0 network.  NOTE disable autosummarization.
  2. Enable EIGRP on AS 1 on each of the P and PE routers.  NOTE disable autosummarization.

Verify the following

  1. Use show IP route on the PE’s to verify that the 150 and 192 networks have been learnt from the other routers.
  2. Use show ip eigrp neighbors to verify that eigrp is peering correctly.
